Tanya (Boigenzahn) Sowards, RTT, RYT-500, CHTP
Tanya (Boigenzahn) Sowards is a Registered Therapist and Instructor with Thai Healing Alliance International (THAI). She's also a certified practitioner through Thai Yoga Healing Arts under Jonas Westring, who played an integral part in helping introduce Thai Yoga therapy to United States. She mainly studies with Master Teacher Pichest Boonethame of Chiang Mai, Thailand, and other respected teachers in the field, at home and abroad. Tanya visits Thailand often where she continues her study of Thai Massage, as well as Buddhist meditation, Thai Shamanic Healing techniques, traditional Thai herbal and medical practices. Tanya is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider for her 150 Hour Thai Yoga Bodywork RTT Practitioner Training Certificate Program.

Tanya is also a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (CHTP), has certificates in Reiki, Seichem, and Qi Gong. She offers holistic Energy Work and aims to help clients clear the root cause of their issue(s) and establish a new perspective both internally as well as in the body. She has worked with many people to help them find balance and specializes in life coaching, fibromyalgia, MS, cancer/chemo side-effects, and fertility.

Tanya has been practicing yoga since 1993 and teaching since 1996. She has studied many traditions including her current study of Para Yoga, as well as Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Sivananda, and Ayurveda, and is an initiate of the Himalayan Tradition of master teachers such as Rod Stryker and Swami Rama that spans a history of unbroken lineage of over 5000 years. In her private yoga sessions, her focus with students is to help them find their Sva Dharma, or (individual destiny) through use of Ayurvedic principles, Vinyasa Krama (proper sequencing), tapas (discipline), Smarana (rememberance of the self) as well as mantra and meditation practices.

Katie Daniels
Katie has long practiced Ashtanga yoga and has a daily practice. To help broader her knowledge of yoga, Ayurveda and energy medicine, she studied Thai Yoga Bodywork with Tanya and has graduated from Level 3. Its incorporation of passive yoga poses and energy balancing, made it a perfect fit for her. Katie warmth and personality help all clients feel relaxed and allow for a healing environment. She uses her training in yoga to help clients work past flexibility and range-of-motion issues. Katie is also the mother to three great musician children. You can often see them playing at French Meadow!

Jenn Posterick
Jenn Posterick has long practiced yoga, and Thai Yoga Bodywork's age old techniques. Its incorporation of passive yoga poses and energy balancing, made it a perfect fit for her. She has studied with Tanya Boigenzahn, and continues to study with various instructors to perfect her techniques and broaden her offerings.
